Long time no see... okay so it's been a long time since you've heard from us. And we feel terrible about that but to say we've been busy is not only an excuse...but a complete understatement. But we're back now and do we have some cute cards to show you.
Megan and I have been busy with wedding related things... our sister Michelle is getting married in June!! Exciting!! So we not only made some bridal shower cards but she asked us to make her wedding invitations... how cool is that!?!? We can't show you those just yet as they are in transit. But since we gave her some of her shower cards this past Sunday... we can totally show them to you!
This first one is the one Megan made. Don't you just love the colour combo of the pink & brown!! I do! And not to mention that the brown panel is embossed... oh yes it is!
Check out that cute little bow and the almost ombre effect of the brads. The sentiment was a rub-on that Meg found.. and it was the perfect colour! So cute!
This next one is my creation! After making all of the wedding invites I just wanted to play with other supplies and new stuff so bad! So this card has a bit everything.

I love the silhouette stamps and I thought this one was fitting a young woman! And I knew Michelle would like the butterfly in her hair. For the background papers I used two different patterns from a Teresa Collins 6x6 paper pad. On the wood grain paper I used a misting mask and some blue mist to create a little drama in the corner! Then I used the same mist to create some blotches on the frame. I added some washi tape, a chipboard button and some feathers and voila! Too fun!!
